That means I’m at work. That means that I’m extremely sleep deprived. That means I’m hungry. That means only 6 more hours ‘till freedom.
It’s that time of the year again when you have to sit and freeze in your car and wait until it warms up so you can actually see out of your window. People start wearing scarves and jackets to keep themselves warm. Everything in the physical aspect tends to gets colder ‘round this time of year but when it comes to relationships and romance, it’s prime time.

It’s been officially 2 weeks since Yoona and I have been together and I can honestly say it’s been amazing. Time just seems to fly by when I’m with her but at the same time, it feels like I’ve known her forever despite the little things that I continue to learn about her each and every day.
Last night at praise band practice, Jae (praise leader) finally addressed an issue that’s been bugging him for a while. I won’t go into detail but facebook pictures from halloween and drinking were mentioned. I know when I’m wrong and I’m not scared to admit it. So, after Jae specifically said that he wasn’t calling anybody out on it, I openly admitted to the team that I knew he was talking about me.
It’s ironic because 2 weeks ago, I made a promise to a girl that I wouldn’t binge drink until next year. That promise slowly turned and helped me realize there are other things, greater things, worth living for besides the occasional weekend fun session. That promise that I made was just a stepping stone for me. God probably knew that I couldn’t do it myself so he sent me an angel. Initially, I admit that it was all for Yoona, especially after going down to VCU with her on halloween weekend. But as the days go by, I begin to realize that the promise I made to her is more about my growth as a man; a mere stepping stone needed to begin my climb.
I have to get back to work so to wrap things up:
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I’m thankful for so much. I’m thankful for my family, my Yoona, my friends, and even little high school punks who give me the finger while driving. What are YOU thankful for?
