So last night I got a call from a random number. I usually don’t pick those calls up but I was curious so I hit the talk button and stayed silent. It turned out to be a Navy recruiter. I can’t stand recruiters, and to top it off, it was a Navy recruiter! He was just asking for it. My initial response was ‘no I’m not interested’ but then he continued to try and convince me to join this ‘hooyah’ adventure. It sounded appealing. Not joining the navy, but wasting this recruiters time by having him think I’ll actually join. I couldn’t help myself. I started off by asking him to giving me practically every job description in the navy, then I went on to tell him I wanted to be a SEAL. But then I told him I was 5’8 and 300lbs (ideal navy candidate), so I told him I wanted an intelligence job where I can sit a lot. I told him I wanted to become a CTR, then air crew, then I said I wanted to be a recruiter just like him! This went on and on for about a good hour untill I finally got tired and told him I was already in the army.
